Tell us what you bid on.
A demo is 20 minutes on your own tenders, not a slide deck. Bring one notice you are unsure about and we will run it through the eligibility engine live.
The form on this page reaches the people who build Avsar, not a call centre. What you write in it decides how useful the first reply is: your trade, the states you bid in, and, if you are asking about one notice, its tender reference number and the portal it came from.
What to include so your first reply is useful
Lead with what you bid on. The one thing that decides whether we can answer in a single exchange is whether we know your trade, your states and your portals. "Send me details" takes three messages to resolve. "We are an electrical contractor registered in Maharashtra and Gujarat, we bid on distribution works on the state portal and occasionally on GeM, does Avsar cover that?" can be answered once, with a filtered list attached.
If your question is about one specific notice, send the tender reference number and the portal it came from. The same work is often published on a state portal and on GeM under different references, and a reference on its own is ambiguous. You can copy both from the notice on live tenders, or from the source portal. Portals shows which sources are indexed.
If you are reporting something broken, tell us the page you were on, what you clicked and what you expected. If it concerns your company record, name the field, for example the turnover year or the registration class, rather than saying the eligibility check is wrong.
Which reason to pick, and where each one goes
The dropdown on the form routes your message, so pick honestly rather than picking the one you think gets read first.
Book a product demo is twenty minutes on your own tenders. Bring one live notice you are unsure about and we will run the eligibility check on it with you, clause and page cited. There is no deck.
Enterprise or multi-company is for firms bidding under more than one registered entity, or teams that want separate company records with shared alerts. Single-company pricing is published on pricing and does not need a call.
Correct a record on this site is for data, and is covered below.
Partnership or API access covers consultants, trade associations and resellers. The terms are set out on partners, so tell us what you would use the data for.
Existing customer support is for account and billing questions. For press, use the same form and give us your outlet and your deadline. For jobs, apply through careers instead of the contact form.
What Avsar cannot do, and what we will never ask for
Avsar is a private platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with NIC, GeM or any government department, and nobody here can influence how a tender is evaluated or who wins it. This is set out in full on the disclaimer.
We do not submit bids. Avsar does not hold your digital signature certificate and will never ask for it, nor for an e-procurement portal password, an OTP or bank credentials. Anyone asking for those in our name is not us. Uploading and signing stays with you on the source portal, and the mechanics are in the digital signature certificate guide.
We are also not a tender consultancy. We will not write your technical bid, attend a pre-bid meeting on your behalf, or take a matter up with a buying organisation. If your EMD has not come back, or your bid was rejected, we can show you exactly what the tender document said, but the remedy runs through the department. EMD refund process and grievance and appeal set out that route.
Questions you can settle faster than we can answer them
Search is open and needs no account. Live tenders filter by state, category, portal and buying organisation, and the index refreshes every minute, so "do you cover my state" is quicker to check than to ask. If a particular source looks stale, system status shows ingestion health per portal before you write in.
If the question is about a clause rather than about us, the 52 guides on the blog are free, and so are the 8 calculators on tools. To work out what a bid will lock up before you commit, use the EMD calculator. To check whether you clear the bid capacity formula, use the bid capacity calculator.
Commercial questions are answered on pricing, and the common account and eligibility questions on the FAQ. One limit worth knowing: the public tender list feeds do not publish estimated value, EMD or eligibility criteria. Those sit inside the tender document, so we cannot supply them by email either.
Reporting a wrong record or a missing tender
Send the source, not the screenshot alone. To correct a tender record, give us the portal, the tender reference number, the field that is wrong and what the source document actually says. We correct against the source. We do not overwrite what a portal published, and where a notice has been amended we follow the corrigendum.
Firm pages on competitors are built from published award data. If your company appears twice because a buyer spelled the name two ways, or if an award on awards is attributed to the wrong entity, send the award reference and we will merge or reassign it. If you would rather your firm's page was not listed at all, say so in the same message.
For a tender you expected to see and cannot find, tell us the portal and the publication date, and check status first in case that source is behind. For your own account data or its deletion, see privacy. To report a security issue, use the route on security rather than this form.
Frequently asked questions
What is Avsar?
Avsar is a private tender discovery and bid intelligence platform for Indian government procurement. It indexes live notices from NIC's Central Public Procurement Portal, the state procurement portals NIC aggregates, and GeM, updated every minute. It reads the tender document, extracts the eligibility criteria and checks them against your company record, citing the clause and page for every verdict, and it tracks EMD and performance guarantees so you know what capital a bid commits. It is not a government body and has no role in awarding work.
What should I never send in a message to Avsar?
Your digital signature certificate or its PIN, any e-procurement portal or GeM password, an OTP, or bank credentials. We never ask for them and cannot use them, and anyone requesting them in our name is not us. What is useful instead: your registered company name, the states and categories you bid in, and the tender reference number with the portal it came from. For what we store when you use the product, see privacy.
Can Avsar submit a bid on my behalf?
No, by design. Submission on CPPP, a state portal or GeM requires your own digital signature certificate and portal login, and Avsar holds neither. Avsar's job stops at the decision: what the notice demands, whether you clear it, and what it will tie up in EMD and guarantees. The submission mechanics are covered in how to submit a tender online, and what the eligibility engine does is on product eligibility.
How long does a reply take?
We do not publish a guaranteed response time, so we will not promise one here. What we can say is that messages carrying the tender reference, the portal and your registered company name are usually settled in one exchange, while vague ones take three. Working hours are listed beside the form. If you need an answer now rather than a reply, tender search, the guides and the calculators are open without an account.
Do I have to talk to sales before trying it?
No. Search is public, and you can create an account and run eligibility checks without speaking to anyone. Prices are published on pricing. Book a demo only if you want someone to walk through one of your own tenders with you, if you bid under several registered entities, or if you need API access, which is handled through partners.
Can Avsar help with a rejected bid or an EMD that has not been refunded?
Only by showing you what the document said. We can pull the relevant clause and page, which is usually where the answer sits, but we cannot represent you, write to the buying organisation, or get money released. The common causes are set out in why tenders get technically rejected, and the recovery route in EMD refund process. Where timelines vary by department, the tender document and the contract govern, not a universal rule.
